Record Requirements

We recommend using either Megahack, QOL, or Eclipse as your mod menu. Other menus may be allowed but additional conversation with a list editor will likely be required.
Your video
  • Your video must show the entire attempt from start to finish.
  • Your video must show the end screen that occurs after level completion.
  • Your video is recommended to show part of the attempt before it, but not required.
  • Your video must not contain any cuts that happen during the attempt.
  • Your video may contain cuts during menu screens in the video for cinematic or entertainment purposes.
  • Your video must not contain any significant overlays that obstruct vision of the attempt.
  • Labels added by mods do not count as overlays that obstruct vision of the attempt.
Audio
  • Your video must contain audible microphone input throughout all significant parts of the recording.
  • Your microphone input must include audible clicks or taps.
  • If your video happens to be recorded using any software that records your inputs and displays them as visual aspects in your recording, your video will not be assessed on audible clicks or taps.
  • A GD mod that visually displays inputs on screen does not qualify as a software that records your inputs and displays them as visual aspects on your screen.
  • Your video must contain device audio audible throughout the entire video.
Quality
  • Your video must be recorded on at least 240p resolution.
  • Your video must be recorded on at least 15fps framerate.
  • Your video must showcase your entire screen.
Format
  • Your video must be uploaded to YouTube, Medal, or any other long-form video uploading platform accessible to all ages.
  • Your video must be uploaded in either a short form or watch form.
  • Your video may not be uploaded in a live form.
  • If your video is uploaded in a short form, it will be converted to a watch form before being displayed on the website.
Cheat Indicator
  • Your video must contain a cheat indicator on the end screen if your record was 100%.
  • Your video must contain a cheat indicator visible throughout the entire run unless your record was 100%.
  • Your cheat indicator must show green throughout your entire run if enabled.
  • Your cheat indicator must show green on the end screen if applicable.
CPS Label
  • Your video must contain a CPS label visible throughout the entire run.
  • If your video happens to be recorded using any software that records your inputs and displays them as visual aspects in your recording, your video will not be assessed on a visible CPS label.
  • A GD mod that visually displays inputs on screen does not qualify as a software that records your inputs and displays them as visual aspects on your screen.
  • If your video contains a camera that is clearly aimed at your hand while playing, your video will not be assessed on a visible CPS label.
Other Disallowed Modifications
  • Any obviously illegal modification such as noclip, show hitboxes, or speedhack.
  • Any modification that makes hack detection practically impossible such as force invisible player.
  • Click Sounds or any mod with the same function.
Vanilla GD Exceptions
  • If your GD client is completely free of mods, you are exempt from every requirement listed in the Cheat Indicator and CPS Label sections.
Note: If your video does not meet all of these requirements, your record may be rejected.

Note: The level must meet all of the level requirements AND the verification video must meet all of the verification requirements, otherwise the level may be rejected.
